Its already March! I can hardly believe it. Time just FLIES by nowadays! It feels like it was just Christmas..
Anyway, it has started warming up considerably here. Just yesterday we had a record high day of 87 degrees here in Nashville! It was insane! I walked my neighbors’ dog in shorts, a tank top, and flip flops and was still a little hot. Flowers are popping up everywhere which makes me really excited because it gives me so many more options for taking a photo of my day! I’ve already picked out several gorgeous flowering spots around my house to take a walk to to photograph pretty spring blooms. Here’s the first half of my March!
March 1, 2016: Super Tuesday! I voted and the woman at the polls had a hard time believing I was old enough..She asked if it was my first time voting. I told her no, and she said “Oh, but this is your first Presidential election!?” And I said no again…So she replied “Oh Wow! You don’t look old enough, how old are you!?” So I told her I was 26…making this my third Presidential election. Haha goodness! I suppose looking young is a blessing and a curse. I love looking young, but at the same time I’d really appreciate it if people took me seriously as an adult sometimes.. 🙂
March 2, 2016: I was admiring the buds on the trees on my walk home from work so I came back and took this!
March 3, 2016: These little pests have been all over our house since fall! The other day I trapped 15 of them in a water bottle, but the normal daily average is about 5.
March 4, 2016: The campground (where we live and work) has a chicken coop and they started laying this week! It was so exciting getting a delivery of fresh laid eggs.
March 5, 2016: Ryan and I went out for Mexican dinner date and the sunset was gorgeous! Great ending to a Saturday.
March 6, 2016: Its finally warm enough to wear my cute spring dresses to church. 🙂
March 7, 2016: Ryan made his delicious roasted red pepper sauce again so I could photograph and record the recipe for a blog post coming later this week! Stay tuned for that!
March 8, 2016: I started getting my first blooms! First up was a “Mr. Stripey” heirloom tomato plant. They’re doing so great!
March 9, 2016: We had our first campfire of the year! Its so nice to relax with Ryan by a campfire on a warm night. Nothing better!
March 10, 2016: I have a strange love for cute dish towels. I need to get some more.. 😉
March 11, 2016: Ryan surprised me with a rented movie, popcorn, and candy. I’m ashamed to admit this, but I have a major weakness for that disgusting fake butter stuff they put on movie theater popcorn. Its so bad but its soooo good!! Don’t judge. 🙂
March 12, 2016: I had a super productive Saturday and made a batch of coffee soap in my slow cooker. I’m writing a blog about soapmaking soon too! I’m excited for that one.
March 13, 2016: Gorgeous wildflowers popping up everywhere!
March 14, 2016: The field by our house looked purple, so I had to take a walk and get a close up view! 🙂
March 15, 2016: This was yesterday, 87 degrees! So we threw out the original meal plan for the day because we just HAD to grill out. More outside grill/fire foods are on the menu for next week. 😀
