Project 365 May Pt. 2

June 1, 2016

May is over and I feel like summer is here! Normally for most people this would be a good thing, but I’m one of the weird people that doesn’t really care for summer that much. It definitely has perks that I love, but overall I’d say its my least favorite season. I mostly just hate being hot all the time and not being able to do anything outside without sweating. Haha its definitely starting to get to that point here in Middle Tennessee! Luckily I have an indoor job. I’ve been doing my gardening stuff either in the morning or evening and it hasn’t been so bad yet. I’m SUPER excited for this next month (June!) My cousin is getting married and the whole Kaly clan is heading up to Michigan for a week for that as well as a little mini vacation. We’ll be heading up to Macinac Island (is that how its spelled?) and I’ve heard glorious things about how beautiful it is there so I’m thrilled! June is also Ryan and my anniversary month! (2 years on the 29th! YAYYY!) Check out some photos from my May!

Project 365 May

May 20, 2016: I was slacking off a bit and forced myself to workout. As usual, I felt great afterwards. Sometimes you gotta just make yourself!

Project 365 May

May 21, 2016: Ryan had an audio gig till really late so I had the evening to myself. I bought flowers at Joann’s and made arrangements, had Panera bread for dinner, and watched girly movies. Good times by myself. πŸ™‚ Seriously. Haha

Project 365 May

May 22, 2016: We had a dessert auction at church to raise money to send kids to camp. I had a blast photographing all the pretty desserts! (And bidding on some!) πŸ™‚

Project 365 May

Project 365 May

Project 365 May

May 26, 2016: My zucchini plants are all blooming like crazyyyy but I’m only getting MALE flowers! In case you didn’t know, there are male and female flowers on squash. I normally hand pollinate my squash because I have so few of them so I have to take the pollen from the male flower and put it on the female flower for the zucchini to form. So far I haven’t had any luck. πŸ™ I need some female flowers!! So sad.

Project 365 May

May 27, 2016: I went for a walk just to look for something to photograph and ended up doing some berry pickin!

Project 365 May

May 28, 2016: COOKIES! I made my famous chocolate chip cookies for a Memorial Day cookout here at the campground.

Project 365 May

May 29, 2016: Pink roses!

Project 365 May

May 30, 2016:Β Happy Memorial Day!

Project 365 May

May 31, 2016: I went back out to the berries and got to picking! There were so many more ripe ones! And SOOOO many unripe ones. I think I’ll have a constant flow of berries coming in all year. Gotta love free food. πŸ˜€
