Hey y’all! I was out of town for a bit which made it especially difficult to keep up with taking daily photos. I cheated a bit I’ll admit! But I’m doing my best. We celebrated a wedding, enjoyed a mini vacation, mourned a family funeral, saw lots of family, and celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary, so needless to say its been a busy past 2 weeks! We have nothing “big” planned for July so it’ll be nice to just relax. Enjoy the photos!
June 16, 2016: Gorgeous Sunset!
June 17, 2016: I designed these printable Father’s Day cards!
June 18, 2016: I went out to get a bit of sun before our vacation but it was cloudy as soon as I went outside. Haha
June 19, 2016: Juicy ripe wineberries! I was so excited to find these. They’re delicious! Very similar to raspberries but a little different.
June 20, 2016: Packing for the big trip!
June 21, 2016: I was so proud that I packed over a week’s worth of clothes in this one bag!
June 22, 2016: Hotel coffee…I clearly had nothing to photograph this day. Haha
June 23, 2016: This was s cheat post because I didn’t actually take any photos this day. Its hard to keep up with a photo project when you’re on a trip hanging out with family all day! But anyways, this is Ryan and I at his cousin’s wedding! 🙂
June 24, 2016: Our cousin’s wedding was so much fun and we (I) loved to frequent the photo booth. 🙂
June 25, 2016: We headed north to Mackinac City in Michigan with Ryan’s family! Here’s one of the hydro jets that takes you to Mackinac Island!
June 26, 2016: Mackinac Island! It was so adorable. We took a carriage ride tour around the island, had lunch and ice cream, and did an 8 mile bike ride loop around the island. It was gorgeous. Ryan and I actually did a tandem bike which was a fun and unique experience!
June 27, 2016: My sweet aunt Doris, who had Down’s Syndrome passed away during our trip so we took an unexpected flight to Pennsylvania to attend the funeral and be with family. I got to see all my cousins and my sister from Alaska even flew in as well so we were thrilled to see everyone despite the circumstances. Ps. This photo was actually taken on my incredibly crappy cell phone and edited on there slightly. It was super gorgeous to watch the sunset from the plane!!
June 28, 2016: After my aunt’s funeral a bunch of the family went to see my Nanny and Pop’s old house. It was for sale so we got to explore and look around since no one is living in it now. My dad grew up in this house, as they lived there for 30 years I think. It was so nostalgic to look in the windows and walk around the barns and outbuildings where we used to play. I also loved that swing in the front yard. My Nanny is a big part of the inspiration for this blog and my desire to be more old fashioned, so it was nice to connect with the past a little. <3
June 29, 2016: It was Ryan and my 2nd Anniversary! I filled out our anniversary memory book. 🙂
June 30, 2016: Ryan brought me a treasure he found. Its sad that the bird didn’t get to live, but those eggs sure are pretty.
